Sasha B was selected to be the Caregiver of the Month for May 2021 at Family First Home Companions. Sasha’s dedication to her client, perfect attendance record, willingness to help by substituting on open shifts, and excellent care services earned her the award and recognition.
Sasha has been a caregiver with Family First Home Companions since 2020 and came to Family First with several years of experience in the home care field. Sasha’s clients have gone out of their way to call the office at Family First to compliment her on her excellent care and work performance.
Sasha has been an excellent member of the team at Family First. Sasha has made herself available on several occasions to help fill-in when other caregivers were out and is very flexible with her schedule. She is someone who can be relied upon and is very versatile in her skills.
We are so proud to have Sasha on our team at Family First and look forward to a successful future with her. Thank you, Sasha, for all you do!
Jennifer has specialized training in Alzheimer’s disease through the Long Island Alzheimer’s Association and the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation.She also volunteered her time with the Alzheimer's Disease Assistance Center of Long Island for 3 years by providing cognitive stimulation to an Alzheimer’s patient group.
Jennifer educates the community about elder care and speaks to caregiver support groups, senior centers, and at professional organizations.Topics include home safety, effective strategies for family caregiving, elder care planning, and awareness about elder abuse.
