Caregiver of the Month: Osiris Galicia

Osiris Galicia was selected to be the Caregiver of the Month for January 2021 at Family First Home Companions.  Osiris’s dedication to her client, perfect attendance record, and excellent care services earned her the award and recognition.

Osiris has been a caregiver with Family First Home Companions since 2014 and has been working with her current client since the summer of 2020.   Her client depends on her for transportation to appointments and assistance with daily living activities such as, grocery shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

An example of Osiris’ dedication to her client was during a severe blizzard in December 2020.  “While most of our staff had to cancel due to the hazardous road conditions and heavy snow, Osiris still went to see her client that day after digging her car out of about three feet of snow.  She told the office, “that’s my girl and I won’t leave her on her own today”, stated Jennifer Benjamin, owner, Family First Home Companions.
