This week, we had the incredible opportunity to bring those values to life by sponsoring a very special senior care event at Five Towns Premier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The highlight of the day? A magical visit from two miniature therapy horses from Horseability and their caring handlers — a heartwarming example of how equine therapy for seniors can make a powerful emotional impact, especially for those living with illness, disability, or advanced age.
As the mini-horses trotted in with gentle steps and curious eyes, the room instantly lit up. Residents and patients who may have otherwise been withdrawn or nonverbal found themselves smiling, petting, laughing, and interacting. For many, it was a rare and deeply emotional connection — an experience that lifted spirits and inspired heartfelt joy.
