NIH's Tips on Aging at Home
The National Institute on Aging provides tips on aging at home. Some of those tips include the kinds of help available:
I think this is a very good list. It encompasses all aspects of the senior care profession. One thing it is missing though is financial aid programs such as reverse mortgages and the veterans aid and attendance. It does mention a great website called Benefits Checkup (www.benefitscheckup.org) which allows you to type in general information about yourself so that you can get a list of the possible benefits that you might qualify for.
